The California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) will be upgrading its computer system. To do this, they are shutting down liquor license applications from May 14, 2010 to May 24, 2010. The new computer system will be up and running on May 24, 2010.
The ABC announced this delay applies only to those wanting to file for permanent liquor licenses. Organizations such as non-profits, churches, etc., needing temporary licenses for special events can still obtain them.
